These need to be bigger. So that when the stupid rich lady at the grocery store goes wide-eyed “what do you MEAN that I’m not allowed to bring my great dane in here? She’s so sweet! She’s never hurt anyone! We’re just going to pick up a few things and go home, how DARE you tell me to leave her outside? What should I do, LEAVE HER IN THE CAR?!”

I get it that people love their dogs, but dogs are not people! And it is NOT OKAY to bring them inside stores. Regardless of their disposition, they will shed fur in places that people aren’t expecting fur (PetSmart, yes. Grocery store, no.). People generally don’t want dog hair in their food (not to mention the germs and such that dogs shed, which are different from human germs). And why should someone go into an allergy attack in the middle of Blockbuster because you can’t leave your dog home alone for 10 minutes?

I wish that something like this was available locally. I have tons of places I can walk to - the gym, grocery store, restaurants, the butcher, etc - I would like to walk my dog more because she needs the exercise (and so do I) but if I have to run into the coffee shop to grab a drink or run into the store to get some milk, I don’t feel safe leaving her tied up outside. I don’t necessarily think that like, this little box would be the answer for her, but I wish there was something I could do so that I could take her more places without living in fear that she’s being dog-napped or whatever.
