If you know anyone who might be interested in adopting the dog on the left (the lighter colored cattle dog mix) please let me know. That is Princess and I want to make sure she goes into a good home. You can send me an ask or email me at andreaglockner@gmail.com.
She would do best in a home without other pets and probably without kids.
She is a little stand-offish sometimes at first but within a couple of weeks is very affectionate and cuddly, she likes to curl up on the couch under a blanket. At night before bed she also likes to be covered up. She is very clever and a good squirrel hunter. She is also a very funny dog with many antics that she does, including little dances for treats and games.
We estimate that she is about 7-8 years old, possible cattle dog/corgi mix. She has cute rounded bear ears. She takes a daily arthritis medication which we are willing to help with financially if it means she gets into a good home. She is very spry and active, not what one might consider to be a “senior” dog.
She is at the Longmont Humane Society in Longmont, CO. Please share this with anyone you know who might want an awesome dog.
edit: I just wanted to say, for anyone who hasn’t been following this saga for the last eight months, we had to surrender her but it was NOT her fault. Our other dog was attacking her constantly and getting more and more violent, and after consulting many experts we were advised that the best thing for both dogs was to return Prin. It’s very complicated and it was very hard for me to surrender her but I did it in the hopes that she can find a more suitable family where her life is not constantly in danger.
