Is it just like, public speaking is hard or is it something specific about me that makes people think I would be bad at it or not well spoken? Everyone is always surprised that I am a good speaker. I think it is probably because I am shy or quiet. So people assume that I would dread public speaking.  Anyway I did a presentation in class today and like 3 people came up later and were like OMG THAT...

also, in case it wasn't obvious, my answer
NO I would never share a facebook account with someone else it was like for our baby or something? THEY ARE FREE you don’t have to split one! Phil and I have each other’s passwords and I use his account to play games (he has way more friends than me) but I don’t read his messages and stuff. The concept of us sharing one account is just so bizarre I never even thought of it...

ok serious question?
ok, two people I know are in a couple. They have broken up a couple of times but been dating 1-2 years overall. They announced today that instead of individual facebook accounts, they want everyone to follow their joint account. WHY would you want a joint facebook account?? Would you ever do this?

Attn: Chicago area Tumblrs who like dogs.
gregtron: When I brought Floyd home from that kill shelter in Oklahoma, he was a quivering, emaciated wreck.  He jumped at every sound, he ran from everyone, and his inner-struggle between needing affection and being terrified of humans caused him to pace endlessly around the house.  He had been heavily abused, and we didn’t even know if rehabilitation was possible.   But after months and...

ancientrelic: Jenny Hyun, who is a songwriter for SNSD & Chocolat and is an artist herself, recently went on a racist rampage, outing herself as a bigot and mentally unstable as well. While the title is harsh, I assure you she deserves every bit of it after her Twitter rant laden with racism towards black people. Yes, you read that correctly, she actually did call for the genocide of...

styro replied to your post: ugh what is happening Well if you want to go into advocacy, it sounds like the BA is the way to go. I guess the BS is if you want to be a biostat lab employee, working on some grant-funded project for some real a-hole at a university? lulzzzzz well also you need a BS if you decide to get the MS in public health which might be interesting for working in public health...

ugh what is happening
So I keep waffling on getting the BS in public health or the BA. The difference is simply in the number of science and math class they require - ht BS requires 6 extra science and 2 extra math classes, but no change in other required classes, so effectively limiting the number of electives one could take. Were there a more clear difference - if the BS focused on biostatistics and epidemiology and...

What I hear whenever Santorum (or any conservative) says things like this: If you are physically unable or simply uninterested in pushing out babies, you are worthless as a woman, and your life ultimately means nothing.
