My nigga why is EVERYTHING too small for you tho? Your shoes can’t cover your ankles, your pants can’t cover your calves, and your shirt is desperately waiting for you to exhale. Nigga look like the hulk mid-transformation. Like he was gettin angry but then cooled off

he could genuinely kill us all with one arm we need to stop reblogging this

styro said: sure diet changes cure cancer too, haven’t you heard? it’s so easy anybody can do it, which is why thousands of people suffer and die every day.

YESSSS EXACTLY

I was just like, oh well I bet all of the people waiting for lung transplants because of CF are so excited that it’s CURED now! AMAZING! And people die of cancer because clearly they are eating too many carbs, even the super rich and famous people who you think would be able to afford to hire nutritionists and doctors and stuff, but no one ever told them that it was rice and potatoes that did them in.

I had to just leave the thread like, this conversation is literally worthless, you’re not even responding to what I am saying about the statistic you’re just repeating your paleo cult shit. I totally believe that food effects your health but I feel like once you say something ridiculous like, 95% of disease is caused by what you eat, you are assuming that 95% of sick people are sick and it’s their own fault. And the problem with that is that not everyone can even AFFORD to follow this ridiculous paleo plan and get the toxins wiped out of their bodies every week and drink triple osmosis filtered water. I mean, do you think that (using this much hyped number) the 47% of people who don’t pay income tax can afford paleo? And then they say, well they can’t afford NOT to do paleo. Completely out of touch.

It’s just so frustrating to me when people refuse to acknowledge that eating paleo or other strict diet like that is a privilege to be able to afford it financially and time-wise and that a lot of people just can’t do it.

Anyway obviously I have a lot of feelings about it I just find it so frustrating and annoying and I fee like.. if this is true, then you should have SOME evidence of it other than one or two anecdotes. To me it’s not much different than saying people get sick because they don’t pray enough. It’s totally ridiculous.

Dom Streater showcases collection for New York Fashion Week

'Project Runway' star, Dom Streater, showcases her first collection since winning the fame competition at NYFW this past week. This collection featured floral prints and pastel colors just in time for spring. Looking at this collection, it reminds me why she was my favorite on 'Project Runway' and why she is my new favorite designer. Love it!

I am in a facebook “discussion” about a picture someone shared that said that 95% of chronic illness is caused by food and lack of exercise. And I said that’s bullshit because that number was literally just pulled out of this nutrition “guru“‘s ass.

But then a doctor came into the thread and let me know that she has literally cured cystic fibrosis and multiple sclerosis through diet so I mean, wow!! What an incredible achievement! You’d think she would have gotten that shit published somewhere, it’s so amazing!

Oh, PS eating healthy is not at all classist. Literally anyone can get cheap fresh food, any time of the year, anywhere, we are all so lucky.

Benches. Seriously. They’re a thing, Ferris. (at Starr Building)

The downside to benches are assholes who’ll lay down on them to nap, or take up spaces for 4 people with their shit. One of my colleges had benches in the hallways and that’s what it was like, all the time. I bench could have sat 10 people. Instead, it was 2 or 3 selfish assholes whose mama’s didn’t raise them right..

In the buildings I work in we will have ONE bench that seats 3 people sitting close together, but usually there is one person with stuff on either side. But for me, with my knee, sitting on the floor is asking for trouble. I have no problem sitting on someone’s backpack if they don’t get it out from under my incoming butt.

"I don’t know what Paul Newman’s situation is, but I make sauce."

Kelis, in the NYT having no time for the interviewer. (via glossylalia)

Hearts in my eyes.

Your ex-husband, the rapper Nas, put your wedding dress on his album cover. Why did he still have the dress? It’s not even the dress. The joke behind that is that it’s the slip to the petticoat to my dress. I think when I moved out I just left it. That’s all he had, poor thing.

(via sexartandpolitics)

oh my god this whole interview is so condescending and gross and kelis is so great and so fucking done in her responses and this is why you don’t get a Political Reporter from the WSJ to interview Kelis.
